Sihanoukville

on a weekend trip yet again, we went to sihanoukville. it is a beach town 5 hours away. last time i went here is when i got that crazy sunburn. no sunburn this time :) i have to say, i am becoming really good at traveling. like really good. that 5 hour bus ride felt like maybe an hour. i have developed the skill of just putting my mind and brain on cruise. while this is good when i am being driven somewhere, it can be quite frightening when i do it while riding my bike in phnom penh.

we stayed in bungalows again, this time with floors and no death geckos. we went on a three island snorkeling tour! it was so pretty and is getting me even more ready for the great barrier reef. again, the water factor prevented me from taking pictures. so did the lazy factor.

our last night there, the city was having a concert to promote people putting their trash in the trash can. yup, that's still a problem here. anyway, they had some clown people come and do a performance, apparently in khmer humor. it was creepy pretty much. after that though, there were a few khmer dances and then the band from the US Navy came and performed. they were awesome and we had so much fun!!!!

i felt pretty silly this trip and spent the entirety of it laughing away.
